SCIENTIFIC NAME: Rieppeleon brevicaudatus

DESCRIPTION: We have some beautiful bearded pygmy chameleons for sale. Bearded Pygmy Chameleons are from Tanzania in Africa. They are a very small chameleon and do well in groups. Chameleons are one of the most unique reptiles in the world. From their independent rotating eyes to their tongues that shoot out of their mouths when they capture their prey. 

MAXIMUM ADULT SIZE: 2 - 3"

DIET: Variety of appropriately sized insects. Staple Diet consists of live crickets. These are available under our Food and Feeders Section.

HABITAT: Provide a well planted glass terrarium with a UVA/UVB light. Temperatures can range from the upper 60s at night to the upper 70's during the day. No water bowl needed as they drink from misted water on their leaves. Make sure to use an organic dirt substrate to the bottom of their terrarium.
