Scientific Name: Tupinambis rufescens

Description: We have a few juvenile male Red Tegus for sale. They have really nice coloration.

Maximum Adult Size: Up to 40"

Diet:  rodents, boiled eggs.  Red tegus eat more  fruit and other plant matter than most types of tegus.

Habitat: Large, sturdy cage with branches, logs, or flat rocks for climbing on and hiding under.  Cypress mulch or coco fiber for substrate - they like to burrow.  UV light or unfiltered sunlight during daytime.   80 - 90F with basking area of 95F.  Moderate to high humidity.  Large, heavy water bowl.
