SCIENTIFIC NAME: Liasis mackloti savuensis
DESCRIPTION:We have a great selection of Savu Pythons for sale here at Reptmart. Savu Pythons are one of the smaller python species available on the market. Their average adult size is around 4 to 4 1/2 feet long. It's the perfect python for a smaller enclosure.
Available sizes are as follows:
Baby: 15 to18 inches
Juvenile: 20 to 24 inches
Sub Adult: 30 to 36 inches
Adult: 48 to 54 inches
MAXIMUM ADULT SIZE: Average Adult Size is 4 to 4 1/2 feet
DIET: Appropriately sized rodents.
HABITAT: Provide a substrate of aspen or wood mulch at least 2” deep - they like to burrow. A small, heavy bowl of fresh water and shelter, such as a hollow log or concave rock or plastic “cave” are the three essential pieces of cage furniture. A hot spot of almost 90F should be provided at one end. Mist if shedding problems occur.
