Description:
Highest recommended moss for all types of dart frogs, tree frogs, salamanders and newts. Can be used for any lizards or snakes that like high humidity like Chinese Water Dragons and Brazilian Rainbow Boas. Also, great for keeping humidity levels high for tropical tarantulas.

The mat of the moss is tight so that pinhead crickets and flightless fruit flies, typical foods for frogs, can not hide under the moss.

Average life of moss, before it needs to be replaced, is two years. With optimal conditions, people claim the moss will last over five years before it needs to be replace.

Care Instructions:

Hydrate moss with spring water only. Spring water contains micro-minerals that help the moss grow. Do not use tap or clorinated treated water. Tap and clorinated treated water can be harmful to the moss and frogs, but not for fish. Once hydrated, the moss will turn a bright green in less than ten minutes.

For best results, keep the moss on Moss Growing Substrate that has been designed to have the proper ph/acid levels for the moss to grow in.
